The 5 Best Netflix Shows to watch in July 2022

Squid Game  is a South Korean survival drama television series created by Hwang Dong-hyuk for Netflix. Its cast includes Lee Jung-jaePark Hae-sooWi Ha-joonHoYeon JungO Yeong-suHeo Sung-taeAnupam Tripathi, and Kim Joo-ryoung .Squid Game follows a group of people with financial struggles who are invited to take part in a mysterious survival competition with a hefty cash prize. 456 players are taken off the streets of South Korea: abducted and huddled together on an island, where only one survivor will get the ultimate prize; their lives and the money to pay their crippling debts. Playing deadly versions of kid\’s games, these players are fighting for themselves and will do whatever it takes to see everything through to the end: or die trying. The plot revolves around characters that represent the modern day, poor working class. Once you start watching it you will be hooked.

The story follows professional thief Assane Diop, the only son of an immigrant from Senegal who had come to France to seek a better life for his child. Assane\’s father is framed for the theft of an expensive diamond necklace by his employer, the wealthy and powerful Hubert Pellegrini, and hangs himself in his prison cell out of shame, leaving the teenage Assane an orphan. Twenty-five years later, inspired by a book about gentleman thief Arsene lupin his father had given him on his birthday, Assane sets out to get revenge on the Pellegrini family, using his charisma and mastery of thievery, subterfuge, and disguise to expose Hubert’s crimes. The show is absolutely captivating thanks to its style, daring heists, and Omar Sy, the show\’s charismatic lead anyone would rob a bank for. It’s a must-watch for all thriller lovers.

3. Stranger Things

The story revolves around four friends, the upside-down world, Demogorgon(monsters/ Mind Flayer). One of the friends ‘Will’ goes missing, And this leads to a wonderful mystery. The girl Eleven who has strange powers helps bring things back to control. The whole cast is terrific (this writer personally was very pleased to see Winona Ryder back in the thick of it). However, it\’s the young leads who steal the show. Scurrying around Hawkins on their bikes in the dead of night and hunkering down in basements trying to find their missing pal, they will melt your hearts, especially Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven. It’s a good pick for all suspense lovers.

4. Hellbound

People hear predictions on when they will die. When that time comes, a dead angel appears in front of them and kills them. The series sees an alternate version of Earth overrun by monsters primed and waiting to drag humans to Hell – which leads to the creation of a religious cult, the New Truth Society. It involves crime drama and fantasy. It’s a well-scripted series with some mind-blowing plots and is a must-watch series.

5. Sex Education

Set at the fictional Moordale Secondary school. While the show is British and filmed in the UK, the setting of the school and surrounding area in the show is specifically vague, with Netflix producers intentionally using elements of both British and American school experiences. Everyone has, at some point in their lives, experienced the soul-crushing, please-swallow-me-up-Earth awkwardness of discussing the birds and the bees with their parents. It’s a rite-of-passage.

It follows the lives of the students, staff, and parents of the fictional Moordale Secondary School as they contend with various personal dilemmas, often related to sexual intimacy. Fresh and easy to binge due to its fun, young cast, you may go in expecting crass humor – and you’re going to get some along with the heartfelt life lessons learned by its core crop of kids. It really helps you to give you the basic knowledge about sex and other stuff. It\’s good and you should give it a try.
